Agape

We are the Sisters of the Agape Order. Our order originated in Egypt, yet by the grace of God we now have spread to many areas of the world. We are missionary nuns, meaning our vocation is to unite the monastic traditions and teachings of the Church fathers with the apostolic call to serve and minister to the world. Over the years, we have grown to serve people of all ages and all walks of life in many different ways. Our Lord Jesus Christ always taught that by charity we can be channels for His love to reach the world.
Our US Chapter
After being nuns together for over 20 years, God called a group of us to relocate to the US and continue our ministry here. With full faith in God, we packed up and ventured to this entirely new land. God blessed us greatly in His divine arrangements and care for us in all regards, and we have been able to serve Him even in new ways here. Also since we relocated God has blessed us to welcome new, young novitiates, some even coming from overseas!
Our Vision
“Now it shall come to pass in the latter days
That the mountain of the Lord’s house
Shall be established on the top of the mountains,
And shall be exalted above the hills;
And all nations shall flow to it.”
– Isaiah 2:2
As our order grows and our ministries grow, we find it vital to establish a permanent place here in the US that would support this growth. We have a vision to build a place of refuge and healing for God’s children from all over the world. The truth is, God’s children are aching with the sores and wounds of this world, and are in dire need for the Lord’s house of refuge. We, the sisters, have each truly tasted and seen the healing of the Lord’s house in our own lives, in different and unique ways, and thus want to share this power of healing with all nations.
The Land
By the grace of God, we have recently found a beautiful and suitable piece of land in Arizona, comprised of two properties overlooking one another, that is in line with our vision. We have submitted our offer very recently, and are now in the critical time window to raise the full amount to purchase. That being said, we need your help!

For years now we have been working hard to save up for our Zion, with much labor, much dedication, and little sleep. We thank you for already having supported us greatly at your local churches every weekend. However, we are quickly approaching our deadline to begin making this vision a reality.
